Stephonika's Universe

Coming from a small town in the mountainous West Virginia of the USA, there is nothing so small about her resolve.  Since a young age, she has been interested in the arts. 

Stephonika's Stats:

• Born as Stephanie in 1989 (she does not supply details on a month or day).
• Nickname: Stephoni, Steph
• Height: 5'5'' / 5'6''
• College Student studying Video Production

She comes from a household with an older brother and sister and was therefore the little one along for the ride.  Much of her playtime with her siblings consisted of playing the bad guy.  She supposes that this is where her fascination with the antagonist characters in stories comes from.

Currently, she resides in a college dormitory where she lives the life of a workaholic. She spends her time attending classes, working on projects, and occasionally breaking out the acrylic paints.

Kaye admits to being somewhat of a recluse, saying that she is not a "party girl" and that her idea of a fun time would be either just sitting alone typing away, reading, playing video games, or out with only a small group of close friends.  She has often dubbed herself "socially claustrophobic."  She tells us that she enjoys spending time with her family, and she is always watching and analyzing movies.  She also loves to spend time with her cats and has a love for anything Japanese.

On 09.29.09, Stephonika founded the OUSA (Ohio University Screenwriter's Alliance) which is for OU writing students past and present only.  Her aim for the group is so that each member can learn and grow as a writer and use that knowledge to help others in their community to do the same. (As of 10.04.09 the group has grown to hold 20 members.) No official events have yet been held.

• She has been writing seriously for nearly 9 years, making her 11 when she first began.
• She reads more than one book at a time, thus this has gone into her writing practices as well.
• Her favorite TV shows include House M.d.; Star Trek: Enterprise; Star Trek: Voyager; LOST; Stargate: SG1; Stargate: Atlantis; Flashforward; Stargate: Universe.
• Fun Fact: Her informal writing contains some British spellings!
